Buying Shoes Ahead of Time For Your Child
āDo you have any tips on estimating shoe sizing and growth for different seasons, for example when there are sales and we want to try to stock up?ā
ANSWER- Love this question! So, it is DEFINITELY not an exact science, BUT generally speaking, you can roughly estimate a HALF SIZE of growth every 2-3 months in the first 3 years of life. At that time, it does generally tend to slow a bit.
That being said, make sure you also consider how rapidly they are currently moving through sizes if you can, AND take into account seasons.
For example, if youāre looking for winter boots, take into account that socks will be a little thicker, in which case going up a half size wouldnāt hurt! Hope that helps!
