What About Hand-Me-Down Shoes?

"Are hand me down shoes okay to use?"

ANSWER- Here’s the thing - shoes are EXPENSIVE, and with children’s feet growing as quickly as they do (up to 1.5mm per MONTH!), it would honestly be so wasteful not to, in my opinion!

WHEN TO USE SECOND HAND SHOES

So how do you know if a shoe is okay to use? First, I check the bottom. If the sole is really worn down, or there are visible wear patterns, I personally try not to use them if I can avoid it especially if a child is having trouble with walking and balance as it is. Otherwise, I’m usually all good for a great hand me down! Hope that helps!
