What To Do If Your Baby Fights Crawling Activities

"My little one REALLY fights trying some of the crawling activities, do I push through it?"

ANSWER- If you're trying some of the crawling activities and finding that little one is resisting, planking, or you're constantly readjusting, try this!

Instead of making it a static position make it a functional transition practice moment, if you feel they're trying to get out of it!

Help them move in/out of the position based on what it seems they want. Know that moving quickly at first is often helpful. It is totally okay if you are providing support or feeling like you're doing it all for them at first! You'll start to see when you slow down, they might move through it more on their own. So much of the frustration we sometimes see is related to feeling stuck.

So again, showing them they CAN get out of it, even if it's with a little help, can be a really helpful approach!
