more than milestones podcast

As a pediatric physical therapist and mom of 3 myself, I’ve seen firsthand how the things that may seem small are actually creating foundations that will shape the way our children move, grow and experience the world.

The early skills aren’t just milestones to check off, but groundwork being laid for everything that comes later. From developing balance, strength and coordination, to learning to problem solve, gain their independence, and begin developing the confidence needed to navigate their world – when we start to understand the foundation built by all of those little ‘ministones’ and the big milestones, so much becomes clearer. .  We can start to recognize:

  • What skills your child is building right before your eyes

  • What resources will actually help support where they currently are AND foster where they’re headed

  • What “typical” looks like across the developmental range

  • What signs might indicate your child needs more support & how to begin advocating for them

I truly believe that knowledge is power, and that understanding our children’s development can shift us from overwhelmed, comparing and worrying, to empowered, confident & able to find JOY in watching our children navigate their unique journey through milestones. It can be our reminder that you don’t need to do all the things – you just need to understand the foundations.

As we move into the new year, that’s where my focus is: helping you all feel grounded, supported and confident in the everyday moments that build strength, at every age and every stage.

Make sure you’re following along on Instagram so you don’t miss what’s coming next – I’m SO excited for all that’s headed your way this year, and I hope you truly know, I’m here to help you every step of the way

Your journey to milestone confidence starts here!
