“When is it okay to transition from laying down baby bath to sitting in the tub supported?”

ANSWER- Such a great question! It is different for every child/family set up, but typically I transition them when they’re starting the baby “crunch”, which often happens around 3-4 months of age. That’s when they’re constantly crunching forward/leaning as those front muscles wake up, and it always made it a little dicey for us with staying in the infant tub! At that point, I transition to this tub seat & if needed because of their overall size within the seat, I would gently put a blooming bath flower behind their back.

Hope that helps!
