“How do I help my 2 year old to be more centered? She easily gets out of balance on uneven ground.”

ANSWER- Without seeing a child individually, it’s hard to say for sure, but generally speaking – heavy work and big motor play can be really helpful for helping center & ground/regulate! This reel has some fun ideas!
If you’re feeling it seems more related to attention to surroundings, it can sometimes be helpful to pull in other senses…for example, if it’s on the stairs or a step, putting brightly colored pieces of tape on it to help bring attention to it. Or even just verbally bringing their attention to a change in terrain: “Whoo, look at how bumpy the ground looks where you’re about to step! Let’s slow our body down & get ready for it!”
Hope that helps!
